A new collection of extraordinary destinations has joined the MAIA portfolio. As of 1 September 2026, MAIA has been appointed to represent a selection of Michel Reybier Hospitality across the GCC.
For the first time, MAIA will be representing two standout mountain addresses in Switzerland.
In Interlaken, Victoria-Jungfrau Grand Hotel & Spa brings together over 160 years of Belle Époque heritage with the ease and breadth of a true resort. Set against views of the Jungfrau, the Grand Hotel is designed as much for families and longer stays as it is for restorative escapes, with an expansive Spa Nescens and a varied culinary offering, from Michelin star cuisine at Radius by Stefan Beer to Trattoria dining at Sapori, forming part of the experience.
Further into the Swiss Alps, AlpenGold Hotel sits amid the landscapes of the mountain town of Davos. Known for its striking golden silhouette, the hotel brings together a Spa Nescens, culinary offerings, from fine dining at the vegetarian restaurant atelierVert to Peruvian Japanese dining at La Muña, and facilities for families, creating a mountain resort suited to both active escapes and slower stays throughout the seasons.
The partnership also brings La Réserve* into the MAIA portfolio, with MAIA representing La Réserve Paris, La Réserve Genève and La Réserve Private Homes Seychelles. These three destinations form part of the wider La Réserve brand, which today comprises four hotels and seven private homes in total.
In the French capital, La Réserve Paris is a highly distinctive urban maison, a far cry from traditional 5-star palace hotels. Moments from the Champs-Élysées, it is open to guests sharing a certain travel philosophy, and combines this intimacy with a culinary signature: Le Gabriel, its three-Michelin-starred restaurant. Wellness plays an equally important role, with a Spa Nescens offering a discreet retreat within the city, completing an experience built around privacy, gastronomy and a refined art of living.
On the shores of Lake Geneva, La Réserve Genève offers a resort-like escape close to the city, with private connection via the hotel-owned Motoscafo during the summer. Conceived with the spirit of an African lodge in mind, the property has a strong sense of place, brought to life through wellness with an expansive Spa Nescens, indoor and outdoor pools, and gastronomy, from the only Michelin Star Chinese restaurant Tsé Fung to gourmet around-the-world dining at Le Loti, and a family-focused offering with a Kids club.
Then, opening in October, La Réserve Private Homes Seychelles will introduce a new expression of the La Réserve philosophy to the Indian Ocean. Set on the island of Praslin, the new destination will comprise six private villas ranging from four to six bedrooms, adding a beach and island setting to the collection and a new story to share with GCC travellers.
Together, the properties offer an entry into the wider world of Michel Reybier Hospitality, shaped over more than two decades around values of excellence, authenticity and simplicity.
Across city stays, lakeside retreats, mountain resorts, vineyards and now the beaches of the Seychelles, each destination has its own identity while sharing a more personal approach to hospitality. Gastronomy, wellness, sport, culture and oenology sit naturally within that world, the latter reflecting the group’s connection to wine through estates including Cos d’Estournel. Wellbeing is further underpinned by the medical expertise of Nescens, the Swiss better-ageing and preventative health brand whose approach focuses on helping people live healthier lives for longer.
Through the partnership, MAIA will lead PR, communications, media relations and influencer engagement across the GCC, bringing the character and stories of each property closer to regional travellers.
