‘Gunmaaster G9’ teaser: Emraan Hashmi is a wounded lover in Aditya Datt’s pulpy actioner

The first look teaser of Emraan Hashmi’s upcoming romantic-actioner, Gunmaaster G9, was unveiled by the makers on Tuesday (August 25, 2026). Directed by Aditya Datt, the film also stars Genelia D’Souza, Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Singh in pivotal roles.

The teaser gives a glimpse into the world of the film filled with pulpy action and romance. Emraan is introduced as a devotee of Lord Shiva as he appeals to God to grant him life till he reaches the doors of his love. It blends sequences where his character is seen beating up goons and spending time with his lover, whose face is not revealed in the teaser. With Himesh Reshammiya’s music, the film promises to bring back the nostalgic charm of Emraan.

The film marks the reunion of Aditya Datt with Emraan after Aashiq Banaya Aapne (2005) and Dil Diya Hai (2006). Speaking about it, Emraan said in a statement, “Adi and I have worked together in the past and we share a wonderful relationship as creative collaborators. We get each other intrinsically and when we are on set, we bring out the best in each other. I play Eshwar in the film— an ordinary dairy farm owner who is willing to go to any lengths for his beloved!”

Gunmaaster G9 is produced by Deepak Mukut, Hunar Mukut and Sangeeta Ahir, and presented by Soham Rockstar Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. It is slated to release in theatres on November 27.

Meanwhile, Emraan was recently seen in Awarapan 2, which has been doing well at the box office.
