The trailer for Srinidhi Bengaluru’s found footage Kannada film, Video, is out. The young filmmaker’s upcoming movie is a horror drama produced by actor Dheekshith Shetty under the banner Dhee Cinemas.
Srinidhi, whose recent work was Jerax, a web series for Zee5, returns to movies after his debut, Blink (2024), a time-travel thriller. After exploring the fantasy genre in Jerax, which starred Nagabhushana and Payal Chengappa, Srinidhi returns with a unique spin on horror.
Video is touted as a found footage horror drama, bringing back memories of 6-5=2, the 2013 Kannada blockbuster that marked the first attempt at the genre. Video stars Bharatha, Jeevan Shivakumar, Tejesh SM, Priya J Achar and Nalme Nachiyar in prominent roles.

The trailer, presented uniquely, begins with visuals of the special screening of the movie for a select audience ahead of the theatrical release on September 11, 2026. The trailer aims to give the feel of a found footage video and shows the reactions of the crowd while watching Video. The narrator in the trailer promises a good mix of fun and spine-chilling horror.
Avinaasha Shastry is the cinematographer, while Prasanna Kumar MS is the music composer. Sanjeev Jagirdar has edited the movie. Video is executive produced by Bharath Sagar, who has also designed the costumes.
