Trafalgar Launches “The Great Godmother Search”   Ahead of Trafalgar Dreamer’s 2027 Seine Debut

Trafalgar is launching a search for the Godmother of its newest river ship, Trafalgar Dreamer, ahead of her debut on the Seine in April 2027. Through The Great Godmother Search, the brand is inviting past guests to submit a meaningful story or memory from their travels with Trafalgar for the chance to become part of Trafalgar history.

The selected Godmother will christen Trafalgar Dreamer and sail on the ship’s inaugural voyage. If the winner names a travel agent in their application, that agent will also receive a complimentary place on the inaugural sailing.

Trafalgar encourages travel agents to support the search for its Godmother by sharing the opportunity with their clients. Agents are asked not to submit entries on behalf of their guests. The search builds on a tradition Trafalgar began with Trafalgar Verity and Trafalgar Reverie, when past guests Cassie Estrella-Roca and Kate McIntosh were selected as the ships’ respective Godmothers.

“Travel creates stories and memories that stay with us long after a trip ends, and our UK travel agents play a hugely important role in making those experiences possible,” said Kelly Jackson, MD & SVP of Sales, EMEA. “The Great Godmother Search is a fantastic opportunity for agents to engage their customers, celebrate their Trafalgar travel stories and create a new reason to start conversations about river cruising. With one lucky traveller set to play a special role in welcoming Trafalgar Dreamer to the Seine, there’s a real opportunity for our UK trade partners to get behind the campaign, drive excitement among their customers and ultimately turn that engagement into future sales. As we prepare for Trafalgar Dreamer’s debut, we want our agents to be part of the journey – sharing the opportunity with their customers, inspiring them to travel and helping us celebrate the experiences and relationships that have shaped Trafalgar for nearly 80 years.”

Eligible past Trafalgar guests can submit their stories until 29 October 2026. Guests can submit their entries and find full eligibility requirements, judging criteria and official campaign terms and conditions by visiting TrafalgarGodmother.com.

Trafalgar Dreamer will begin sailing on the Seine in April 2027 with the new Best of the Seine with Paris & Normandy itinerary, bringing Trafalgar’s signature approach to guided travel to the river and offering guests a new way to experience Europe through expert guidance, authentic local experiences and meaningful connections with the destinations along the way.
