The camp’s on-site Photography Studio gives guests access to professional Canon cameras and lenses, alongside guidance from the camp’s resident Canon-certified wildlife photographers, Kennedy Omungo, John Macharia and Duncan Ochieng.
Prior to each game drive, guests can select camera equipment suited to their level of experience and receive practical instruction on photography techniques, including composition, lighting, and wildlife tracking. Upon returning to camp, the Photography Studio becomes a space to review, edit, and curate images, with professional editing support ensuring each photograph is thoughtfully refined and delivered via a secure digital gallery.

Parents and children sit together after a game drive, scrolling through images they captured side by side, a leopard in the acacia, a Maasai beadwork session, their first African sunset. Those photographs become part of the story of the trip, and memories they can return to for years to come.”
The camp offers a more immersive way to experience the safari, where the lens becomes a tool for discovery, revealing the subtle movements and details of wildlife in unexpected ways.
Guests photograph a wide range of wildlife and landscapes across the Masai Mara, from close sightings of predators and elephant herds to wider shots of sweeping sunsets. Every family is assigned an open-air Safari Land Cruiser and a dedicated guide, allowing them to set their own pace and focus for each outing.
The Photography Studio is available to guests on a complimentary basis throughout their stay, including the use of cameras and lenses during game drives. For those seeking a more in-depth experience, private photo safari excursions with resident photographers are also available at an additional cost.
For families and small groups, the camp’s two-bedroom suite offers a spacious retreat with separate living areas, a private plunge pool and dedicated butler service from an Encholiek. The Encholiek supports guests throughout their stay while offering insight into local culture, traditions and the surrounding landscape.
