The domestic box office receipts for the film are Rs 55 crore.
With the release of Sikandar on Eid, Salman Khan has made a spectacular return. On Sunday, March 30, the movie was released in theaters. The movie made Rs 29 crore in all languages on its first Monday of release, which fell on Eid. The movie made a total of Rs 55 crore at the domestic box office after earning Rs 26 crore on its first day of release.
According to Sacnilk, the movie had 26.70 percent attendance in the afternoon, 30.18 percent in the evening, and 33.12% at night. According to Sacnilk, Sikandar’s overall Hindi occupancy rate on Monday was 24.60%.
Reviews of Salman Khan’s Eid release were mediocre at first. The bloated actioner, which rotates between Rajkot and Mumbai, also aims to be Salman Khan’s Jawan, according to film reviewer Saibal Chatterjee, who gave it two stars out of five. It ends up fluffing its lines because it opens too many fronts for its own good.
“The director is responsible for both the screenplay and the story, therefore not much of what Sikandar puts together makes sense. It is far too reliant on outrageous but uninspired tricks that make it hard to believe.”
Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna worked together on film for the first time in Sikandar. A.R. Murugadoss, who had previously helmed Aamir Khan in the 2008 blockbuster Ghajini, collaborated for the first time with Salman Khan on the movie.
In addition to Salman and Rashmika, Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, and Sharman Joshi play important parts in the movie.
Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, owned by Sajid Nadiadwala, has provided financial support for the film. The movie made more money than Salman Khan’s previous Eid release, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, which made Rs 15 crore on its first day of release. However, Sikandar was unable to surpass Tiger Zinda Hai’s first earnings.
