Rotana, one of the leading hotel management companies in the Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe and Türkiye, has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with dnata Travel Group, which represents the travel division of dnata, one of the world’s largest air and travel services providers.Signed during Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2026 in Dubai, the agreement will increase access to Rotana’s portfolio through dnata Travel Group’s travel brands and partner channels across leisure, wholesale, corporate and group travel. The MoU builds on a longstanding commercial relationship and the recent establishment of direct dynamic connectivity between the two organisations. Rotana and dnata Travel Group will also explore joint marketing, commercial development and technology-led initiatives designed to improve distribution efficiency and connect more travellers and travel trade partners with Rotana properties.
Philip Barnes, Chief Executive Officer of Rotana, said: “We have enjoyed a strong relationship with dnata Travel Group for many years, so this MoU feels like a natural next step. As Rotana grows across the region and beyond, the way we reach our guests needs to grow with us. By bringing our portfolio and hospitality expertise together with dnata Travel Group’s international reach, we can make it easier for more travellers to discover and experience Rotana, while creating greater value for our hotels, owners and travel partners.”
Christian Kremers, Vice President, Yalago and Central Ground Services at dnata Travel Group, said: “This agreement will allow us to bring more Rotana properties to travellers across our leisure, wholesale and corporate channels, while creating new opportunities across international source markets. We look forward to building on our established relationship and supporting the next stage of Rotana’s growth.”
The MoU was signed by Nada Sheshtawy, Chief Commercial Officer at Rotana, and Christian Kremers, Vice President, Yalago and Central Ground Services at dnata Travel Group, in the presence of senior representatives from both organisations.
