The starting price of the 13-inch M4 MacBook Air is Rs 99,999. The starting price for the 15-inch model is Rs 1,24,999.
The new 13- and 15-inch MacBook Airs are available for pre-order today, and they will be available starting on Wednesday, March 12.
A matching MagSafe charging cable is included with every color option, including sky blue.
M4 MacBook Air: Key features
The new MacBook Air is up to two times faster than the M1 model thanks to the M4 chip’s potent 10-core CPU, up to 10-core GPU, and support for up to 32GB of unified memory, according to Apple. Compared to the MacBook Air with M1, the M4 chip’s Neural Engine, which speeds up AI-based operations, is up to three times faster.
The video quality of the new 12MP Center Stage camera has been enhanced. Additionally, it supports Desk View, which enhances video calls by showing the user and a top-down view of their desk at the same time. In addition to its integrated Liquid Retina display, the MacBook Air can now accommodate up to two 6K external screens.
According to Apple, the 13.6- or 15.3-inch Liquid Retina display on the M4 MacBook Air has up to 500 nits of brightness, supports 1 billion colors, and has up to twice the resolution of similar PC notebooks.
The MacBook Air with M4 has Bluetooth 5.3 and fast Wi-Fi 6E for connectivity. In addition, it has a 3.5mm headphone connector, two Thunderbolt ports for attaching security keys and external storage, and MagSafe charging.
