On Elia Beach, the Imperial offers a more sociable poolside experience. Twin seawater pools, a swim spa and a swim-up bar come together around Nostos, which serves smoothies, cocktails and Mediterranean dishes throughout the day. Higher on the hillside, Avaton takes a bolder visual approach. Its infinity pool and red accents frame Kokkino Bar, named after the Greek word for red and designed to reflect the property’s striking colour palette.
The atmosphere changes again at Villa Collection, where the Infinity Bar progresses from iced coffees and relaxed lunches to sunset cocktails, selected wines and spirits.
Once darkness falls, the illuminated infinity pool becomes the backdrop for live performances and DJ sets.
In Ornos, the pool terrace at O flows naturally towards the beach, with palms, natural stone and generous lounge areas creating one of the Collection’s most convivial gathering points. Obar’s serves both the pool and beachfront, allowing the experience to continue without interruption between the two.
For something quieter, Sunrise at Agrari places its saltwater pool between a fragrant garden and one of Mykonos’ least crowded beaches. Guests can move between the pool and the clear waters of the bay before returning for a drink beside the water.
Different in design and mood, these spaces share an understanding of what makes a memorable Mykonos afternoon: a remarkable view, a well-made drink and no reason to look at the time.
