It is anticipated that Samsung would add the Galaxy S25 Edge to its flagship Galaxy S25 line. In comparison to the current models in the range, this future phone is expected to have a smaller profile while keeping many of their essential features. But according to recent certification listings, the Edge model’s battery will be smaller than that of the regular Galaxy S25.

Battery capacity and charging Details

The Galaxy S25 Edge’s battery, model number EB-BS937ABY, has been included in the UL Demko certification database. The ad states that the phone will have a 3,786mAh battery, albeit it will probably be sold as a 3,900mAh device. Compared to the 4,000mAh battery in the standard Galaxy S25 model, this is a minor reduction.

This smaller battery size was already suggested by previous leaks. The phone was also previously found on China’s 3C certification website, where it was mentioned that it would allow 25W wired charging, which is the same speed as the normal model.

Expected features and specifications

The Galaxy S25 Edge is anticipated to have high-end specs similar to those of its predecessors despite the battery drop. The same Snapdragon 8 Elite processor seen in the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra versions is reportedly going to power it (via Gagdets360). The phone is probably going to run Samsung’s One UI 7, which is based on Android 15, and have 12GB of RAM.

The phone is expected to weigh about 162g, have a 6.65-inch display, and have an incredibly thin 5.84mm profile. It is anticipated to have a dual rear camera arrangement, with a 12MP ultrawide lens and a 200MP primary sensor.

According to reports, Samsung is getting ready to reveal the Galaxy S25 Edge on April 16; it will be available in a few markets starting in May. The anticipated cost is roughly $999, or ₹87,000.
