When it comes to his life, Mahesh Bhatt is renowned for being forthright and honest with the audience. But many have been shocked by his recent admission. In a recent interview with his daughter Pooja Bhatt’s podcast, Mahesh recounted that he once served human flesh to an investor after taking a tantric’s instruction.
Mahesh Bhatt disclosed that he and his companion Arun Desai were having trouble in their professions when they were in their 20s. Arun proposed that they go to Varanasi to meet his guru before meeting a possible investor in Gaya, Bihar.
“A long line of extremely impoverished people waited to see the guruji. Mahesh Bhatt described the young man as a tantrik who would continue to dance while holding a bottle of rum. It seemed to the tantric that Bhatt did not believe. He requested that the two come back the next day.
“He took out a piece and made a pudiya out of it, and he said this is human flesh, which has been taken out from the ghats,” the videographer recalled. “Your potential investor will give you money if you take this and feed it to him,” he stated. The “key to this kingdom of money” was what Bhatt believed he had discovered.
After that, the two traveled to Gaya. “This zamindar used to sit behind this mosquito net and have security men holding guns somewhere in the outskirts of Gaya,” Bhatt recalled. How to feed someone human flesh was their only issue. The notion of passing it off as a paan came to them. “Then it occurred to us to purchase a paan, put this on it, and present it to him,” Bhatt said.
“And slowly, he brought it close to his mouth and then, he began chewing it,” the director stated. We believed that we had struck gold. Bhatt believed that his career and financial difficulties would be resolved. A month later, though, he found out from Arun Desai that the investor had not provided them with any funds.
Many Reddit users have been startled by Bhatt’s memory. “The dead body is supposed to be guarded when we cremate it because it is used for all these purposes,” one individual wrote. It surprises me a little that he is making this public. “This man is such a creep!” wrote another. It is plausible that he might reach this point.
