Travel technology provider Adalte has brought its digital ecosystem under a single global platform as it accelerates the international development of its technology and distribution network for the multi-day tours and packages market.
The move sees Adalte.com become the central access point for the company’s technology, replacing the previous separation between its corporate website and Community.Travel.
Travel companies can now use one platform to access the Adalte ecosystem, manage professional connections and bookings, distribute tours and packages and access its growing range of technology, product and support services.
Adalte said the development represents the next stage of a wider strategy to create a more connected global infrastructure for the multi-day travel market, bringing tour operators, DMCs, suppliers and distributors together within one digital ecosystem.
The transition to Adalte.com has been completed without disruption to existing customers. The tour operator console remains unchanged, with existing users able to continue managing their connections and bookings through the central platform.
Global supplier network continues to grow
The platform development comes alongside continued expansion of Adalte’s international supplier network, with a growing number of travel companies connecting their product to the ecosystem.
Adalte works with a broad network of established travel suppliers and specialists across international markets, with further companies continuing to join the platform as demand grows for more efficient ways to digitise, manage and distribute multi-day travel product.
Among the most recent additions are Julia Tour, a Spanish DMC which selected Adalte at the end of June to power the booking and distribution of its tour portfolio to partners, and Sense of Africa, part of Tourvest Group, an established DMC with a significant portfolio of travel experiences across Africa.
They join Adalte’s expanding network of leading suppliers already using the platform to connect product with distribution partners and reach new markets.
Julia Tour’s first products were live on Adalte within weeks of joining the platform, demonstrating one of the key advantages of the company’s technology: its ability to significantly reduce the time required to digitise complex multi-day product and make it available for distribution.
The continued expansion of its supplier base is central to Adalte’s ambition to build an increasingly international marketplace connecting the businesses creating travel product with those selling it.
Building a global marketplace for multi-day travel
Adalte has developed its technology specifically around the complexities of multi-day tours and packages, where product creation, contracting, content, distribution and booking can involve multiple suppliers, markets and commercial relationships.
Its platform is designed to simplify those processes and provide the infrastructure for travel businesses to manage and distribute complex itineraries more efficiently.
Bringing the wider ecosystem together under Adalte.com creates a single environment through which partners can access information, technology, product, connections and support.
The platform will continue to expand across new markets, languages, content and supplier relationships as Adalte strengthens its international footprint.
Davide Galleri, CEO of Adalte, said: “The evolution of Adalte.com is the result of a journey we have been working towards for some time.
“Our ambition is to create one platform and one brand that becomes the central point of reference for our partners globally, bringing together information, technology, product, connections, updates and support.
“Multi-day travel is inherently complex, particularly when businesses want to distribute product across multiple partners and international markets. Our role is to make the technology and connectivity behind that process much simpler.
“As our supplier and distribution network continues to grow, bringing everything together under Adalte.com gives us the foundation to continue expanding the ecosystem internationally.”
Adalte said further suppliers, markets and platform developments will be introduced as it continues to grow its marketplace and international distribution network.
