The Leading Hotels of the World (LHW) welcomes ten new member hotels to its global portfolio of more than 450 independent properties. These August additions include restored heritage landmarks, private residences, beachfront and island retreats, and an all-inclusive Western ranch. Located near Place du Trocadéro in Paris’s 16th arrondissement, La Réserve Paris Apartments offer a residential alternative to the city’s traditional hotels, combining the privacy of an intimate home with the service of a five-star establishment. Created in 2007 by French hotelier and vintner Michel Reybier, the collection comprises ten fully serviced apartments ranging from 1,500 to 3,230 square feet, housed within elegant 19th-century Haussmann buildings with views towards the Eiffel Tower. Originally built as a traditional Danish seaside hotel in 1935, CORI Hornbæk Hotel brings new life to a functionalist landmark on Denmark’s Riviera coast, just 45 minutes from Copenhagen. Where the Kattegat Sea meets wide stretches of pale sand, Hornbæk is bathed in the fabled light that painters have travelled north to capture since the 1870s. The restoration preserves the property’s architectural character while introducing a contemporary interpretation of Nordic coastal living, shaped around design, wellbeing and connection to the surrounding landscape.
