The political thriller made Rs 8 crore net in India on Day 6, down 24.9% from Rs 10.65 crore on Monday, according to trade tracker Sacnilk. As a result, its whole net collection in India is now Rs 143.40 crore, while its gross collection is Rs 167.57 crore. The movie has made Rs 246.07 crore worldwide.
With morning programs at 19.08%, midday shows at 22.69%, evening shows at 31.15%, and night shows at 30.00%, Jana Nayagan had an overall occupancy of 25.73% on Tuesday.
Director H Vinoth has responded to the conflicting reviews of Jana Nayagan throughout its theatrical run. Vinoth stated, “I haven’t read most of the reviews,” in an interview with NDTV.
