In a tweet on X (previously Twitter), the Lenovo sub-brand confirmed that the Motorola Signature will finally make its debut in India on January 7, 2026. This implies that the Motorola Signature will arrive in India the day after the Redmi Note 15 and Realme 15 series are released.
What can we anticipate from the Motorola Signature?
The new Signature phone will have a “fabric” texture, according to Motorola, and the Flipkart website also reveals that it will have a flat screen with a selfie camera cutout. With a major emphasis on camera performance, the phone will be a high-end product from Motorola.
The preview also reveals that the device’s left side will include a button that might be a customizable key, much to those found on OnePlus, Apple, and Nothing devices, while the right side would have the power button and volume sliders.
The Motorola Signature may be a renamed version of the Motorola Edge 70 Ultra, according to earlier leaks. The phone was recently seen on Geekbench, and renders of it had also been posted online by tipster Evan Blass.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 CPU, which has two cores clocked at 3.89GHz and six cores clocked at 3.32GHz, powered the Motorola Signature, according to the leaked benchmark. The Adreno 829 GPU is reportedly linked with it.
According to the leak, Motorola Signature may run an Android 16-based user interface, most likely Motorola’s Hello UI, which is similar to stock Android but now has bloatware and advertisements. According to reports, the tablet also has 16GB of RAM, which strengthens its place in the high-end market.
Additionally, the insider revealed that the Motorola Signature might be available in two color variations: Martini Olive and Carbon. It is reported to include three cameras on the back, one of which may be a telephoto lens, and a 6.7-inch 1.5K OLED display.
It is difficult to determine precisely where the firm could place the Motorola Signature because it is the first phone in the new series. However, according to reports, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 engine and triple 50MP camera configuration might put it in into rivalry with the OnePlus 15R (which shares the same SoC) and the upcoming Oppo Reno 15 and Realme 16 Pro series.
