When Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan reconnect on film for the first time in 17 years in Priyadarshan’s eagerly awaited horror-comedy Haiwaan, Bollywood fans can expect a nostalgic blend of fun and frights. The main trio was recently spotted at Mumbai’s Kalina Airport following the completion of the film’s first schedule, which was filmed in the picturesque surroundings of Ooty. The two celebrities exuded style with ease.
Following a successful shoot, Akshay, Saif, and actress Saiyami Kher were seen smiling broadly as they left the airport in an Instagram video. The three stopped to pose for the photographers outside the airport before making their way to their vehicle.

The three stars’ synchronized blue hues reflected their cheerful companionship. Saif Ali Khan looked effortlessly stylish in a solid blue tee and icy-blue trousers, while Akshay Kumar kept things casual in a baggy shirt with stripes of blue and white and black jeans. Saiyami Kher wore a grey pair of jeans, a blue blazer, and a black t-shirt for a sporty-chic ensemble.

The anticipated thriller, which is directed by Priyadarshan, may be a Hindi adaptation of the 2016 Malayalam movie Oppam, which starred Mohanlal. A crucial source for this conjecture is the original movie, which drew inspiration from both the 2011 Korean thriller Blind and Martin Scorsese’s 1991 masterpiece Cape Fear. Venkat K. Narayana and Shailaja Desai Fenn will co-produce Haiwaan with KVN Productions in association with Thespian Films.
According to reports, Saif will play a guy who is blind or visually handicapped in Haiwaan, while Akshay Kumar would play the antagonist. “Yes, I am doing a film with Priyadarshan next,” he said excitedly, confirming the same. I portray a man who is blind. “Very thrilling,” Bollywood Hungama said.
Fans have been anticipating Haiwaan’s combination of humor and horror. Now that the first schedule is finished, anticipation for the movie is only going to increase.

As of right now, the actor is counting down the days before his next comedy show, Jolly LLB 3, is out. The film, which stars Saurabh Shukla and Arshad Warsi, will be released on September 19. Supported by Star Studio18 and directed by Subhash Kapoor, the courtroom drama also stars Huma Qureshi, Amrita Rao, and Gajraj Rao.
He will be seen by fans in Bhooth Bangla as well. The Priyadarshan-directed movie is scheduled to open in theaters on April 2, 2026. In addition to his entertaining schedule, Akshay will return to his role as Raju in the comic series Hera Pheri 3.
In contrast, Saif Ali Khan will return to the role of antagonist Bhaira in the action-thriller Devara: Part 2. This time, the film, which was directed by Koratala Siva, would have unexpected turns. Janhvi Kapoor and Jr. NTR are also featured in the movie.
