Hanuman Ansh, the devotional drama based on the life of spiritual leader Neem Karoli Baba, has been seeing an unprecedented run at the box office across the country. The film has crossed Rs 50 crore at the box office since its release in theatres on August 7 last month.
As per a press note shared by Cinepolis India, which exclusively distributed the movie, Hanuman Ansh opened on approximately 250 screens and collected Rs 90 lakh across India in Week 1. The release was consolidated to around 40 screens in Week 2, where it collected Rs 46 lakh. On the reduced footprint, per-screen collections nearly tripled over Week 1. Its collection rose to approximately Rs 10.5 crore in Week 3 and crossed 50 crore in Week 4.

Hanuman Ansh is written and directed by Vishal Chaturvedi and produced under the banners of SWAMbhu Media Network and Holy Cow Home Productions. It is continuing its stellar run at the box office and will be released internationally on September 11.
Hanuman Ansh is based on Vishal’s book, Detour: That Changed My Life, which chronicles the life of Neem Karoli Baba. The film recounts the story of the spiritual leader, whose devotional journey leads him to serve humanity through selfless love and blessings.
The film stars Chandan K. Anand and Purnima Tiwari in pivotal roles.
