Ahead of the Paris Fashion Week show for her own company, Victoria Beckham took to the streets of Paris. On Friday, the fashion designer and beauty tycoon will present her latest collection for fall 2025.
Beckham wore a largely monochromatic ensemble prior to the performance, suggesting a more daring interpretation of the subdued luxury trend. The long sleeves of the black knit turtleneck that the former Spice Girls member was wearing were rolled up to her elbows.
Beckham experimented with fabric contrast by accessorizing a pair of wide-leg, high-waisted pants in a same shade of black with delicate pleating to match the turtleneck. The designer finished the suit with a pair of white, pointed-toe heels, which created even more contrast to the entire style.
Beckham opted for a basic accessory style, accessorizing with a watch and delicate silver bracelets. But the designer’s striking sunglasses, which evoked 1970s fashion, were a particular highlight of her look.
In December 2024, Beckham unveiled her pre-autumn 2025 collection as part of London Fashion Week, ahead of her forthcoming fall 2025 ready-to-wear collection display. Samantha Conti’s WWD review of the anthology notes that it drew some subtly from Truman Capote’s swans.
According to Conti’s review, Beckham stated, “I wanted to celebrate the art of dressing with strong, considered silhouettes.”
The pre-fall collection’s highlights included “a black jacket was embellished with a martingale belt, a sculptural, cranberry-colored coat curved gently around the hips, and a pair of high-waisted white trousers had hidden Power Mesh fabric inside the waistline to keep things looking neat.”
