Have you ever had the desire to travel in a caravan? Packed with convenience and comfort, this home-on-the-wheels vehicle provides a distinctive take on travel. A cozy bed, a small kitchenette, and occasionally a small bathroom are standard amenities in caravans, which enhance the fun and elegance of every trip. With the company’s extension of the limited-edition interstate Motorhomes, Uber commuters may now take advantage of customized interstate rides with a caravan motif.
Uber revealed that it has extended its caravan-style transportation service to Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Pune on Thursday, October 9. When the service was first introduced for a month in Delhi during the monsoon season, it quickly became popular among commuters. It received 100% occupancy every day, according to a Times of India report, and even people from other cities began to ask about it.
Uber has now chosen to begin providing the Intercity Motorhomes service to the three additional major cities on October 15. Bookings for the out-of-town road trips will open on October 13. Until December 31st of this year, the National Capital will continue to enjoy the caravan-inspired journey.
According to the official press release, every vehicle under the Intercity Motorhomes brand has a television, microwave, mini-refrigerator, and restroom. Four to five passengers, a driver, and an assistant can all fit inside. For riders who want to feel at home and enjoy luxury while traveling, this is the ideal way to go. In order to meet those demands, the caravans provided a private, lounge-like setting with features like live ride tracking and round-the-clock assistance.
According to the press release, the most popular intercity routes are Ahmedabad-Vadodara, Bangalore-Mysore, Lucknow-Kanpur, Delhi-Agra, and Mumbai-Pune. However, some of the most well-liked retreats are Munnar, Alappuzha, Mysore Palace, and Agra (Taj Mahal). Uber Reserve allows users to reserve the Intercity Motorhomes service in advance. This service is ideal for short trips, family vacations, or even business meetings.
