Regina Cassandra, Yogi Babu, Singam Puli, Gopi Amarnath, and Kannada star Duniya Vijay are all in the movie.
Actress Nayanthara has been fasting for a month in order to play the goddess in the movie, according to producer Ishari K. Ganesh, whose production company Vels Film International is working on the project.
At the pooja ceremony held to commemorate the film’s formal premiere, producer Ishari K. Ganesh stated, “I should tell about Nayanthara madam.” She has been fasting for about a month. Prior to portraying Amman in Mookuthi Amman part 1, she also fasted for a month. She is thrilled by the plot and this character.
Ishari Ganesh claimed that he instantly accepted actor R J Balaji’s request to create Mookuthi Amman five years ago because it was their family’s deity.
“Nayanthara was the sole option when we were choosing the actor to portray the title character of the Mookuthi Amman. She quickly consented when we contacted her. According to Ishari K. Ganesh, the movie lived up to the audience’s expectations.
“I was hoping for a movie about Goddess Amman to be released after that one, but none was produced. I thought it would be a good idea to develop a sequel to Mookuthi Amman as I wanted a pan-Indian movie about the goddess.
After talking it over with my team, we decided that Sundar C, also known as the Frachise King, would be the most suitable director for this second installment,” producer Ishari K. Ganesh stated.
Ganesh claimed that Sundar C requested time when they approached him and asked him to make Mookuthi Amman 2. But within a month, he was back with a script to tell Ganesh.
According to Ganesh, Sundar C promised to speak with Nayanthara and get back to him with her dates for the movie.
Ganesh claimed that during the discussion of the movie’s budget, director Sundar C informed him that the film would need to be produced on a pan-Indian scale and that only a large-scale production would be desirable. “When I asked him how much the movie would cost, he indicated with three fingers that it would be more than 100 crore, or three figures.” I concurred,” the producer stated, adding that he had given Sundar C full control of the project.
In addition to Regina Cassandra, Kannada actor Duniya Vijay, Yogi Babu, Singam Puli, Gopi Amarnath, Abhinaya, Iniya, Mynaa Nandini, Swaminathan, and Ajay Ghosh, Sundar C announced the film’s cast on the occasion. Hip Hop Tamizha, an actor and music director, will compose the soundtrack for the movie.
