Tigerair Taiwan expands its network through Dohop-powered Scoot partnership

Tigerair Taiwan has launched tigerhop, a Dohop-powered Connected Travel platform that lets the airline sell connections with partner carriers through its own retail channels. Scoot is the first partner, extending the destinations customers can book with Tigerair Taiwan without traditional interline or codeshare agreements.

Built on Dohop’s RetailConnect technology, tigerhop combines flights from participating airlines in a single transaction under Tigerair Taiwan’s brand, helping the carrier compete for bookings that might otherwise go to OTAs.

Initial connections link Singapore with destinations across Tigerair Taiwan’s network, including Akita, Hanamaki and Tottori, via Taoyuan International Airport. Passengers also have access to Dohop’s ConnectSure disruption support and travel protection services.

The launch comes as low-cost carriers across Asia look for more flexible ways to extend their networks without adding aircraft or entering into complex bilateral agreements. Dohop’s technology is already used by Scoot, Thai Vietjet, Citilink and Air India Express, with additional airline partners expected to join tigerhop in the coming months.
