For a brief period, PlayStation India is offering a “Summer Sale” on a few PlayStation 5 models (CFI-2008A & B). The aforementioned PS5 versions are going to be discounted by Rs 5,000 during this event.
Customers who purchase qualifying PS5 models from Sony Center or from participating platforms, such as e-commerce sites Amazon, Flipkart, and Blinkit, as well as certain stores like Reliance and Croma, can take advantage of this deal.
Starting on May 14, 2025, and lasting till supplies last, the PlayStation India Summer Sale will take place.
Summer Sale prices for the PlayStation 5
Sony has declared that the PlayStation 5 CFI-2008A01X model, which is presently selling at 54,990 on Flipkart, will be discounted by Rs 5,000. However, there will also be a Rs 5,000 discount on the PlayStation 5 CFI-2008B01. The price of this model is 44,990 as of right now on Flipkart.
How games are accessed is the primary distinction between the two PS5 models. The digital version, the PS5 CFI-2008B01, does not support physical discs but lets customers download games straight from the PlayStation Store. Conversely, the PS5 CFI-2008A01X is the disc version, which allows users to download games from the Store and play them using actual discs.
Only the disc format provides the freedom of using game CDs, even though both versions support digital downloads. For both versions to run games smoothly, a TV or monitor with a refresh rate of at least 120 Hz is required.
