A dazzling black raw silk open sherwani with elaborate resham embroidery layered over a precisely tailored pin-tuck kurta and worn with sleek straight slacks was Salman’s show-stopper ensemble.
With a dash of Salman’s chutzpah, the traditional Desi avatar praised Indian craftsmanship and made Salman seem festively ready. Placement embroidery in elaborate floral and butterfly designs complemented the iconic Vikram Phadnis sherwani. The hand embroidery’s splash of crimson highlighted the monochromatic couture style.
