OneReg, the compliance and regulatory assurance platform used by airports and airlines globally, has appointed Roger Gray, an accomplished aviation and infrastructure leader with extensive international experience, as Chair.
Gray joins the board with more than two decades of leadership across aviation, ports, logistics and FMCG, and currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Port of Auckland. He has previously held senior executive roles at Lyttelton Port Company and Air New Zealand.
His appointment comes as OneReg continues its rapid growth. OneReg now supports airports and airlines across New Zealand, Australia, the Middle East and the UK, with expansion into Europe underway. The company has established staff in key aviation hubs including Dubai, Geneva and the UK to support its growing international customer base.
Gray said he chose to join OneReg because of the opportunity ahead and his confidence in the team leading the business.
“Aviation is one of the most heavily regulated industries in the world, and much of that regulation is still being managed through documents and email,” said Gray. “That is a structural problem. It slows operators down, consumes regulator capacity and puts distance between the people accountable for safety and the evidence they rely on. The team understands the regulatory challenge from the inside, has earned credibility with serious operators, and is building for a market well beyond New Zealand.”

OneReg’s growth has been underpinned by a number of significant customer wins.
In 2025, Dubai Airports selected OneReg as its strategic partner for regulatory operations across Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC), validating the platform at one of the world’s largest and most complex aviation hubs.
The OneReg platform is also deployed by other major airports around the world, including 25 airports in Australia alone. Air New Zealand has additionally taken an equity stake in the company.
OneReg is also focused on opportunities to support aviation regulators globally in their digital transformation efforts, helping to improve the interface between operators and regulatory authorities.
