Superstar Aamir Khan stated on Wednesday that even though he loves playing the most, he can’t be in every movie, thus he takes on the job of producer on these kinds of films. When Aamir visited an Agenda Aaj Tak session in New Delhi, he was questioned on his decision to forgo main roles in favor of cameos or production work.
“Production mein apna alag maza hai.” The 60-year-old actor, who owns the producing company Aamir Khan Productions, stated, “I can’t do every film by myself, even though I enjoy acting more.”
The most recent film in which Aamir starred was “Sitaare Zameen Par,” which was a sequel to his 2007 film “Taare Zameen Par.”
The actor claimed to have read a few scripts and to have found some stories appealing. “This year, one movie was released; as an actor, I’m listening to the stories to determine which movie will be the next. Additionally, there are a few pleasant stories.
According to the “3 Idiots” actor, he is now making three to four projects that will be released in the upcoming year. The actor revealed that one of these projects, “Ek Din,” will have his son Junaid in the starring role opposite well-known South actor Sai Pallavi.
Additionally, he is supporting Rajkumar Santoshi’s “Lahore 1947,” which stars Sunny Deol, and “Happy Patel,” which stars Vir Das and Mona Singh.
“These movies, which I am developing, will be released the following year. “Happy Patel” will be released in January, and further movies will follow in the next three to four months. In this movie, I’m playing Mona Singh’s father, who played my mother in “Laal Singh Chaddha,” he continued.
