Union Home Minister and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah stated on Thursday that PM Narendra Modi was working to replace the “politics of nepotism” that pervaded the nation’s politics. In the PM’s hometown of Vadnagar in Mehsana, Shah spoke at the opening of the Archaeological Experiential Museum, Prerna Complex, and Sports Complex. He claimed that Modi turned his personal experience of poverty into empathy and pursued the welfare of the underprivileged nationwide with a “great vision.”
“Only a divinely gifted and talented individual like Narendra Modi, the son of Vadnagar, can be born into such adverse conditions and think of the welfare of society without harboring any bitterness,” Shah added.
According to the Union Minister, who cited programs like “Kanya Kelavani” for girls, Modi had numerous difficulties in his own schooling as a child and gave basic education a lot of weight when serving as Gujarat’s chief minister.
“Today, the entire world is following in Modi’s footsteps,” the Union Home Minister stated in his speech. Shah added that Vadnagar will be prominently displayed on the national and international maps as a result of Thursday’s event.
Shah also oversaw Vadnagar’s beautification program, urban road development, and heritage complex development plan. In addition, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan attended the release of a movie about PM Modi’s trip.
After taking office as Gujarat’s chief minister, Narendra Modi Ji worked to address all of the state’s problems after touring the state to learn about the people’s concerns. In Gujarat, Modi ji envisioned an organization-based party and instituted a novel strategy for winning support that was founded on ideas and progress rather than caste, personality, or dynastic politics. Narendra Modi sought to replace the nepotism that pervaded politics nationwide with the “politics of performance,” Shah stated.
“Modi ji established a model of inclusive and comprehensive development in Gujarat, making sure that no area or person in the state was left behind,” he continued, citing programs like the Sagar Khedu Sarvangi Vikas Yojana, the Van Bandhu Kalyan Yojana, the 24-hour electricity supply, the road networks, infrastructure, solar energy projects, and planned urban and rural development.
According to Shah, Modi was promoted to prime minister because this approach was widely acknowledged and recognized as the “Gujarat Model” throughout the nation.
Shah emphasized that the ideal of constructing a magnificent temple for Lord Ram was realized during Modi’s administration, pointing to the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Additionally, he praised Modi for “ending triple talaq” and repealing Article 370 in Kashmir, both of which established “secularism.”
According to Shah, Modi’s “firm resolve and continuous campaigns” against terrorism and Naxalism have caused both problems to be coming to an end in the nation. He continued by saying that India’s robust security policy allowed it to carry out air and surgical strikes, making it abundantly evident to the rest of the world that no one could interfere with the nation’s borders or army.
He also emphasized how the PM empowered women by guaranteeing them a 33% reservation in the assembly and Parliament, which allowed them to have a major part in policymaking, and improved the condition of tribal people, backward classes, and Dalits.
He claimed that under Modi’s leadership, a robust foreign policy developed, indicating that India does not want to progress by threatening or submitting to anyone. According to him, Modi has created a new foreign policy tradition that emphasizes having equal and respectful conversations with other countries.
The fact that world leaders gathered to the Rajghat to honor Mahatma Gandhi during the G20 is evidence of India’s strength. India’s economy has grown from the eleventh to the fifth largest in the world under PM Modi’s leadership. India’s GDP will rank third globally in 2027, he continued.
The construction of the Archaeological Experiential Museum and Excavation Complex cost about Rs 300 crore. The Prerna Complex and the elementary school where PM Modi was educated were also formally opened by the Union Home Minister. Shah stated during the sports complex’s opening that PM Modi has set Ahmedabad as the site of the 2036 Olympics and that by then, the kids of Vadnagar will be prepared to compete in those competitions.
