Marriott Bonvoy Teams Up with NFL Stars to Launch 37 Player-Curated City Guides

As the NFL’s global footprint continues to expand, Marriott Bonvoy announced today the release of 37 player-curated City Guides, inviting traveling fans to go beyond the stadium and discover the destinations that make attending an NFL game so unforgettable, all through the expert eyes of those who know it best.

The Marriott Bonvoy City Guides cover every U.S. and international city set to host an NFL game this season, including Melbourne, Rio de Janeiro, Mexico City, London, Paris and Madrid, and feature recommendations from current and former NFL stars including Cooper Kupp, Jordan Mailata, Fred Warner, Todd Gurley and more. Designed by popular social media artist Jeff Cole, each City Guide spotlights the local traditions, favorite places and hidden gems that shaped the player’s connections to their in-season homes.

Throughout the NFL season, Marriott Bonvoy will bring these players’ perspectives to life through unique on-property experiences, a new 10-episode content series featuring select players in their home destinations, and on Marriott Bonvoy Moments, the platform that turns points into unforgettable memories. Fans can continue the journey with curated City Guide packages in select host markets, featuring game tickets, hotel stays, local experiences and more.

“Marriott Bonvoy opens the door for travelers to explore the world through an extraordinary portfolio of hotels, experiences and destinations,” said Peggy Roe, Executive Vice President and Chief Customer Officer, Marriott International. “Now, traveling fans who go to incredible lengths to see their favorite team play can experience NFL cities through the lens of those very same players. It is another way we are helping members turn their passions into meaningful travel experiences and lasting memories.”

As part of the season-long program, Marriott Bonvoy is also bringing back its iconic Super Bowl Sleepover Suite – where one lucky winner will get the chance to spend the night in a luxury suite turned hotel room inside SoFi Stadium the night before the biggest game in football.

Marriott Bonvoy also launched its new NFL advertising campaign, Long-Distance NFL Relationships, celebrating the millions of fans whose loyalty to their team transcends their location. Reinforcing Marriott Bonvoy’s Where Gameday Checks In platform, the campaign showcases how the brand helps bring fans closer to the teams they love, with hotels located near nearly every NFL stadium. The message is simple: no matter where fandom takes them, Marriott Bonvoy will see them there.

The first release of the Marriott Bonvoy City Guides include insider maps from Cooper Kupp in Seattle, Jordan Mailata in Philadelphia, Jerry Rice in Mexico City, Mark Ingram II in Rio de Janeiro and Todd Gurley in Melbourne. Further City Guide reveals are to come with Fred Warner in San Francisco and Kyle Hamilton in Baltimore, with more to be announced throughout the season.
