JioHotstar is expanding its international footprint with a new partnership with STARZPLAY, bringing Indian entertainment content to audiences across the Middle East.

JioHotstar has entered the Middle East as part of its broader international expansion, partnering with regional streaming platform STARZPLAY to take its Indian entertainment offering to a new overseas audience. The move follows JioHotstar’s launches in the UK, Canada and Singapore.

Under the partnership, JioHotstar will be available as a dedicated streaming destination within the STARZPLAY app and website. The service will offer JioHotstar Originals alongside their India releases, television content from JioStar channels, blockbuster films and popular reality franchises.

The content slate will include the ongoing season of Bigg Boss across six languages and the upcoming season of Koffee with Karan. Viewers will also get access to content in Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Bangla and other Indian languages. JioHotstar said its Malayalam catalogue will be a substantial part of the offering, reflecting the importance of the region’s Malayali audience.

JioHotstar will be available through STARZPLAY’s PLUS plan at AED 34.99 per month. The MAX plan, priced at AED 49.99 per month, will combine the complete JioHotstar entertainment catalogue with STARZPLAY’s sports portfolio, including major sporting events and cricket.

JioStar said the Middle East is a crucial market for its global ambitions, citing the region’s large South Asian diaspora and strong demand for entertainment across languages. The partnership with STARZPLAY gives JioHotstar access to an established regional streaming platform and its audience base.
