Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan in ‘Haiwaan’ posters

The teaser of Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan’s upcoming psychological-drama, Haiwaan, was unveiled by the makers on Wednesday (June 12, 2026). Directed by Priyadarshan, the film also stars Boman Irani, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Saiyami Kher, Rajpal Yadav, Sharib Hashmi, Rajesh Sharma, Pahal Chaudhary and Manoj Joshi.
The teaser doesn’t reveal much about the storyline but just gives a glimpse into the mood of the film where Saif plays a blind man. There are a bunch of rapidly cut sequences that create an atmosphere of terror with the background music adding on to the mystery. Saif is seen walking in a dark corridor and climbing down stairs by the sea as a bloodied hand is seen reaching for something. The film promises to be an intriguing mystery with elements of a dense psychological thriller.
Haiwaan is written by Priyadarshan, Abilash Nair & Rohan Shankar. It is shot by Divakar Mani and edited by Aiyappan Nair M.S. The film features music by Pritam.
Produced by Venkat K. Narayana & Shailaja Desai Fenn, Haiwaan will be released in theatres on September 11.
