During a recent earnings call, Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar Games, stated that GTA 6 will arrive during its previously planned Fall 2025 release window, as reported by IGN India.
Take-Two’s statement has raised expectations for a second trailer that would provide additional details about the gameplay, characters, and potential plot. On December 5, 2023, the first GTA 6 trailer was released by the creators. But almost a year later, no formal announcement on the upcoming teaser has been made.
Here are some things to anticipate from Grand Theft Auto 6 while players await the release of the second trailer.
GTA 6: What to expect
Date of release: Digit reports that Grand Theft Auto 6 will be available for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on September 17, 2025.
Map: GTA 6 will take place in Vice City, which is Rockstar’s recreated Miami, much to the 2002 game GTA: Vice City.
Gameplay: According to reports, Lucia will be the game’s main character and the first female lead in the franchise. She won’t be the only playable character, though, according to a number of rumors, as the game is probably going to include more than one protagonist.
Platforms of release: In line with previous patterns, the game will initially be made available on the newest consoles, with a PC version following later. Likewise, GTA 6 is anticipated to be available on the PS5 and Xbox X/S. The PC release will come after around a year.
Second trailer: Since Rockstar has a history of deleting posts from its Instagram account before big announcements, the second trailer is anticipated to be released before April.
