Fliggy, a leading online travel services platform and a wholly owned subsidiary of Alibaba Group and 89988 and Ryanair today announced a direct connectivity partnership that will enable Ryanair flights to be sold on Fliggy through Ryanair’s official API connection.
The partnership gives Fliggy customers access to Ryanair’s official fares across its extensive European network, including popular destinations in the United Kingdom, Italy, France, Spain and Portugal. By connecting directly with Ryanair, Fliggy customers benefit from a smoother booking experience, access to attractive fare options, and myRyanair, the airline’s digital customer platform which offers post-booking services and support.
The partnership is facilitated by Atlas, a Ryanair Approved OTA Aggregator partner, which provides the direct connectivity infrastructure between the two companies.
Demand for travel from China to Europe has strengthened over the past two years. According to Fliggy data, more than ten European destinations ranked among the top thirty outbound destinations for Chinese travellers during the first half of 2026.
As a leading airline group, Ryanair serves more than 230 destinations across the United Kingdom, Ireland and continental Europe. Through this partnership, Chinese travellers gain access to Ryanair’s low fares and extensive route network through an authorised sales channel, while Ryanair expands its reach to Fliggy’s community of more than 500 million registered members.
Ryanair’s CMO, Dara Brady, said:
“We are pleased to announce our partnership agreement with Fliggy – adding to our growing list of partners. Through this new agreement, Fliggy customers will be able to book Ryanair’s low-fare flights with the guarantee of full price transparency and direct access to their booking. We look forward to working with Fliggy and carrying their customers onboard our market-leading network of Ryanair flights.”
Li Chen, Vice President and General Manager of Transportation at Fliggy, said:
“We are delighted to become Ryanair’s approved OTA partner in China. As demand for European travel continues to grow among Chinese travellers, this partnership gives Fliggy customers access to a broader selection of European flights with better value and a superior end-to-end booking experience. We are excited to work with Ryanair and Atlas to make European travel more accessible for Chinese travellers.”
According to Fliggy data, since the launch of the direct connectivity partnership, bookings for Ryanair flights on the platform have increased by more than 20% month-on-month.
