The Pova Curve 5G, Tecno’s newest low-cost 5G smartphone, has been released in India. The phone, which comes in two RAM and storage options, will go on sale on June 5.
With its futuristic “starship-like” design, the Pova Curve 5G is only 7.45mm thick and is available in three striking color choices: Neon Cyan, Magic Silver, and Geek Black.
Cost and accessibility
Priced at ₹15,999, the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model will only be offered on Flipkart. The 8GB RAM + 128GB setup, on the other hand, costs ₹16,999 and will be sold through physical stores.

A 6.78-inch curved AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution (1,080 x 2,436 pixels) is included on the Pova Curve 5G. It has a high screen-to-body ratio of 93.8%, a refresh rate of 144 Hz, and a maximum brightness of 1,300 nits. Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protects the screen for durability.
The MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate chipset powers the device’s internal components, which also include 128GB of internal storage and up to 8GB of RAM. Allocating empty storage space allows users to practically increase the RAM to 16GB.
A dual rear camera arrangement, featuring a 64MP Sony IMX682 sensor at its center and AI improvements for improved image processing, handles photography. A 13MP selfie camera is located in a punch-hole cutout in the center of the front.
The 5,500mAh battery of the Pova Curve 5G supports 45W rapid charging. Additionally, Tecno promotes its Intelligent Signal Hub System, which keeps users connected even in places with spotty network service.
Notably, the smartphone has dual speakers that support Dolby Atmos and is rated IP64 for protection to dust and splashes. Additionally, it incorporates NFC, Bluetooth 5.4, and Wi-Fi 6 to meet contemporary connectivity requirements.
The handset is packed with Tecno’s proprietary voice assistant, Ella, as well as a number of AI-powered features, including Voiceprint Suppression, Auto Call Answering, and AI Call Assistant, which add a local touch.
