In the southern area, Indian Railways is extending its Vande Bharat Express services. Today, December 15, the Narasapur–Chennai Vande Bharat Express train was introduced. Chennai, Tamil Nadu, and Narasapur, Andhra Pradesh, are connected by this route. According to The Indian Express, the return service from Chennai to Narasapur would begin on December 17.
The New Vande Bharat Route
The Dr. MGR Chennai Central–Vijayawada Vande Bharat Express will now travel to Narasapur, according to the Southern Railway zone. With the exception of Tuesdays, Train No. 20678 will run from Narasapur to Chennai six days a week starting today.
In about 8 hours and 55 minutes, this semi-high-speed train will travel 655 kilometers. The train’s quicker journey will be advantageous to visitors, business travelers, and everyday commuters alike. Renigunta Junction, Nellore, Ongole, Tenali Junction, Vijayawada Junction, Gudivada Junction, and Bhimavaram Town are among the planned destinations along the route.
Timings for the New Vande Bharat
The schedule states that the train headed for Chennai would leave Narasapur at 2:50 pm and arrive in Dr. MGR Chennai Central at 11:45 pm. The train traveling in the opposite direction will depart Chennai at 5:30 am and arrive in Narasapur by 2:10 pm.
New Prices for Vande Bharat
For Rs 1,635 for an AC chair car and Rs 3,030 for an executive chair car, passengers can take advantage of a first-rate travel experience with contemporary amenities and quicker trips. There are 530 seats available on the train.
