Atishi, the Delhi Chief Minister and the AAP candidate for Kalkaji, complained in a letter to the election officer on Tuesday about BJP members and Ramesh Bidhuri’s nephew in the Kalkaji assembly, claiming that they are threatening AAP members.
Atishi took to the X to say, “Ramesh Bidhuri’s nephew and family turned to hooliganism out of fear of losing in Kalkaji. Workers of the Aam Aadmi Party were threatened, intimidated, and physically assaulted by BJP members yesterday evening. Numerous female employees were likewise mistreated. The electoral authorities had received a letter calling for action against these thugs. Additionally, the deployment of paramilitary personnel in the Kalkaji Vidhan Sabha constituency has been asked.
Taking a firm stance, Arvind Kejriwal declared, “BJP members are openly engaging in hooliganism and posing a threat to the citizens of Delhi while enjoying the protection and assistance of the police. All of this is taking place per Amit Shah ji’s directives. BJP suffered severe defeats in 2015 and 2020. The BJP is losing heavily this time as too. As a result, Amit Shah ji is currently inciting hooliganism against Delhi residents. I would like to inform Amit Shah ji that Delhi is home to many kind and polite individuals. Such hooliganism is disliked by Delhiites. It is absolutely unacceptable to use the police to intimidate and harass people. It is your responsibility to restore Delhi’s law and order. Who will engage in hooliganism if you do?
