Hollywood star Brad Pitt’s most-awaited Cliff Booth spin-off film for Netflix has been retitled The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth. Directed by David Fincher and written by Quentin Tarantino, the film will be released in IMAX worldwide on November 25, before streaming on Netflix on December 23.

Netflix announced the news on Wednesday (August 26) with a short glimpse from the film

The film, earlier titled The Adventures of Cliff Booth, is a sequel to Tarantino’s 2019 film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and is set in 1977 Hollywood. In the 2019 film, Pitt played Booth, a charismatic, rugged stuntman and the loyal best friend of fading actor Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio). It remains unclear whether DiCaprio’s Dalton will appear in the sequel. Pitt won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for the role of Booth.

The cast of The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth also includes Elizabeth Debicki, Scott Caan, Carla Gugino, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Peter Weller, Matt Groove, JB Tadena, Corey Fogelmanis and Karren Karagulian.

The creative team includes director of photography Erik Messerschmidt, production designer Donald Graham Burt, editor Kirk Baxter, casting director Laray Mayfield, costume designer Trish Summerville and sound designer Ren Klyce.

The movie marks a reunion between Pitt and Fincher, who have previously worked together on Se7enFight Club and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
