After spending Friday night in detention in connection with the sad stampede at Sandhya Theatre that claimed the life of a mother in her late 30s and injured her eight-year-old son, actor Allu Arjun left Chanchalguda Central Jail on Saturday morning.
A lower court initially placed the Pushpa 2 star under a 14-day judicial remand after he was arrested at his home on Friday. He was later given temporary bail by the Telangana High Court, nevertheless, on a ₹50,000 personal bond.
Ashok Reddy, the actor’s attorney, claims that Allu Arjun was not released till Saturday am even though he had received the High Court’s bail ruling. “We will pursue legal action; they will be held accountable for this unlawful incarceration. He’s been released as of right now,” Reddy said.
According to reports, Allu Arjun spent the night in jail in spite of the court’s ruling because the bail order was not uploaded promptly. As rumors about when he will be released increased, security was increased outside his home.

According to authorities, the theater’s administration did not put in place sufficient safety precautions or give advance notice of the actor’s coming. When the gates opened and the mob surged toward the entry, they fell, causing the woman’s awful death.
In a police complaint, the deceased’s husband, Magudampalli Bhaskar, said that his wife, Revathi, collapsed to the ground when the actor’s security detail tried to control the thronging crowd.

Based on a complaint from the family of the deceased woman, the Hyderabad police charged Allu Arjun, his security detail, and the theater management under several provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) after the occurrence.
Allu Arjun promptly responded to the charges by asking the Telangana High Court for redress, and the court affirmed his fundamental rights as a citizen. Judge Juvvadi Sridevi stressed that since the actor was only at the premiere, he could not be held initially accountable for the mayhem.
