According to Suniel Shetty, “This is the biggest shock”
After Paresh Rawal abandoned the Hera Phera 3 filming in the middle of the shoot, Akshay Kumar’s production company, Cape Of Good Films, allegedly handed him a court notice demanding Rs 25 crore in damages. The film’s director and stars voiced their disbelief and discussed Paresh Rawal’s “unprofessionalism” after the news broke on May 20.
Suniel Shetty, who portrayed Shyam in the popular 2000 movie Hera Pheri, learned about Paresh Rawal’s separation from his kids, Ahaan and Athiya. While in Delhi to promote his most recent movie, Kesari Veer, Suniel told India Today, “I don’t know anything about this. This is shocking. I considered texting him first, then meeting up with him to talk about it. I have not discussed what transpired with anyone.”
Under the seasoned direction of Priyadarshan, Akshay, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal had started filming the movie in April of this year. Akshay is one of the producers of the film in question and purchased the rights to Hera Pheri 3 from producer Feroz Nadiadwala.
“This is a crisis,” Suniel Shetty told India Today, describing the situation as such. This is the biggest shock of the movie, which is currently near the midway.
We planned to start filming the following year. In reality, we had already begun. We filmed a promotional video. It’s significant. This is really startling. This is incomprehensible to me. And who sent it, do you know? Within fifteen minutes, both Athiya and Ahaan texted it to me, wondering, “Papa, what is this?” And I felt like ‘holy s***’ while I was here conducting my interviews,” Suniel clarified.
For the past two years, there has been a lot of talk about Hera Pheri 3. As an actor, Suniel Shetty thought the movie was significant as well. “This movie is crucial for our emotional well-being, you know. “I’m not sure what’s going to happen,” he said in closing.
The follow-up to the popular 2000 movie Hera Pheri is called Hera Pheri 3. In 2006, the second installment was made available. In 2023, the Hera Pheri 3 was shown. Priyadarshan was confirmed as the film’s director earlier this year.
