Amitabh Bachchan posted a poem on his blog in the early hours of Wednesday without responding to the health rumours.

Fans of megastar Amitabh Bachchan were alarmed by multiple rumours of his hospitalisation and subsequent discharge. The seasoned actor sent love and prayers to his well-wishers in a new blog post amid the rumours circulating about his health.

According to a report released on Tuesday by Vickey Lalwani, Amitabh has been in the VIP ward of Nanavati Hospital since May 16 because of gastrointestinal problems. According to the story, Abhishek Bachchan, his son, also paid him a visit when he was there.

“Amitabh Bachchan underwent a routine check-up (here),” according to a later NDTV story. After the examination, he was released and went back home.

“Mr. Bachchan did visit Nanavati Hospital on Saturday, but it was a routine check-up that he goes for every month, and he returned home after that,” an insider informed ETimes. Fans and well-wishers were alarmed by the reports regarding Amitabh’s health. The megastar shared a new message on his blog amid the mounting allegations, but he declined to comment on the health-related rumours. Rather, he wished his supporters well and sent them love.

Amitabh posted a poem on his blog early on Wednesday morning: “Cheel jab howe shant to bhaiya, tote bolan suru karen ir bir fatte, kahan, chal hamau, pilave suru karen!!!!!” “Bajre di roti kha di, fu padiyon da, bolan lage kaag re, saag re munh mein dalan lagai jaise!”

In closing, he wrote, “Love, Prayers and more.”

Amitabh Bachchan’s next project is the sequel to the science fiction movie Kalki 2898 AD. In the movie, the actor will play Ashwatthama once more. He recently posted photos from the sets with Kamal Haasan and said he was excited to work with him once more. The first installment, which was directed by Nag Ashwin, debuted in 2024 and made over ₹1000 crore at the box office globally. Prabhas and Deepika Padukone played major parts in the movie as well. Deepika is no longer involved in the project, but Prabhas will be back for the sequel.

In addition, Amitabh is working on the courtroom drama Section 84. Diana Penty, Nimrat Kaur, and Abhishek Banerjee have significant parts in the film, which is directed by Ribhu Dasgupta. The producers have finished filming, but they have not yet revealed the release date.
