Over the course of the last week, there have been four reports of harassment involving female tourists, three medical issues, and one lost-and-found case along the Goa coastline.

Some men are accused of harassing some Russian female visitors on the Baga beach in Goa. However, a lifesaver and a beach marshal’s prompt action stopped things from getting worse. Following a warning, the domestic visitors engaged in the incident last week were permitted to depart.

According to a notice from the beach safety organization Drishti Marine, throughout the previous week, there have been four reports of harassment involving female tourists, three medical issues, and one lost-and-found case along the Goa coastline.

In a another incident, a foreign woman was harassed by two male visitors from Telangana who were allegedly intoxicated after she declined to snap a selfie close to the shore. According to reports, one of the men tried to kiss her and put his arm around her.

They brought the two tourists to the police station.

Currently, there are about 70 marshals stationed in the five well-known beaches of Baga, Calangute, Candolim, Colva, and Benaulim.

A group of seven to eight Karnataka visitors were discovered reportedly filming and taking pictures of Russian women at Colva beach in South Goa without their permission. According to the agency, lifesavers stepped in and turned the individuals over to the Goa Police for additional action.

Lifesavers reportedly observed five Bihar visitors harassing and recording a Pune couple without their permission on Sunday night at Patnem Beach.

The Goa Police were notified and the couple was brought to safety. Within fifteen minutes, police officers came and took the visitors into custody pending further action.
