At the New York premiere of the comedy picture in which she will soon star, Camila Mendes made a fashion statement. In an archival moment, the actor decided to draw attention and make a statement.
The Crown Hill Theatre in New York hosted the screening, which the 31-year-old attended. Along with writer-director Natasya Popov, she was joined by a number of her co-stars, including Rachel Matthews, Nerses Stamos, Julia Fox, and Anna Baryshnikov.
She chose to wear a white scooped-neck, semi-sheer Chanel tank top with the enormous CC emblem for the premiere. It was an archival Chanel Spring 1992 look that appeared to have been lifted directly from the current trends, demonstrating that fashion is cyclical and that vintage couture would always be in style. This further demonstrates the enduring influence of the late designer Karl Lagerfeld and the continued relevance of his Chanel vision in the modern day.
She wore a full-length, voluminous, tulle skirt with a corset design at the waist that tightened the ensemble with the white tank top. For a little of pizzaz and edge, the actress wore a wide gold chain-linked belt around her waist, embracing the Russian perspective of the movie. She accessorized it with a retro bob haircut and open-toed black heels.
Action figure is displayed by Camila Mendes.
Camila Mendes used Instagram earlier this month to tease her followers about the Mattel toy figure that is based on Teela, the famous warrior goddess that she will play in the next Masters of the Universe film. It is evident that this project is already receiving the full franchise treatment because the boxed figure showed the character in battle-ready attire, replete with gold armor detailing and interchangeable hands.
Travis Knight is directing the forthcoming live-action Masters of the Universe film, which is slated to open on June 5, 2026. Nicholas Galitzine, Jared Leto, and Idris Elba are also featured.
