Nitin Nabin described his election as the next BJP National President on Tuesday as “a moment of resolve” since he is taking on the “ideology, traditions, and the responsibility of a nationalist movement of the party” in addition to a position.

During the organizational ceremony (Sangathan Parv) at the party headquarters in New Delhi, Nitin Nabin was chosen as the BJP National President, making history as the youngest leader to do so.

The newly elected BJP National President Nabin was congratulated at the party headquarters in Delhi by outgoing BJP National President J.P. Nadda, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari.

“Today, above all else, I want to extend my sincere thanks to each of you,” Nabin remarked, addressing the assembly. I am so grateful that you have made it possible for a regular employee like me to get to this prestigious position within the party. I want to express my sincere thanks to you, Prime Minister, because we regular employees have constantly witnessed your tremendous efforts to serve our country.”

“I held the position of National General Secretary at that time, and I witnessed how you paid attention to every individual during the Sadbhavana Mission program,” he added, recalling a program with PM Modi in Anand, Gujarat. When you spoke to us in your green room after the event, you passionately explained the reasons why so many Gujarati people attended.”

A “person becomes great when they emotionally connect themselves with the public,” the new BJP chief declared that day.

Additionally, Nabin thanked former BJP National Presidents J.P. Nadda, Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari, and Rajnath Singh for their services to the party when they were in office. He stated, “I want to express my sincere appreciation to the prior national presidents; they have greatly contributed to the party’s progress. We belong to a political party that views politics as spiritual practice, sacrifice rather than enjoyment, and not power. It is austerity rather than comfort and pleasure. Nabin stated that politics is a responsibility rather than a position of power.

“I’m making a decision today. “Today, I am not only taking on a role, but also the ideology, customs, and accountability of this party’s nationalist movement,” he declared.Nabin attributed this to the Prime Minister. “Today, 140 crore Indians are connecting themselves with the dream of a Viksit Bharat and are working to take the country forward.”

The new leader of the BJP noted that “the atmosphere of Kashmir changed, and today the Tricolour flies proudly at every corner of Kashmir” after PM Modi repealed Article 370.

“Nation First, Party Next, and Self Last” is how we operate,” he continued.

The electoral college, which included representatives from the BJP’s national council and state councils, officially elected Nabin as the only contender.

The procedure complies with BJP regulations, which stipulate that a candidate must have at least 15 years of party membership and be recommended by at least 20 electoral college members from a state.

Nabin’s ascent is viewed as a calculated attempt to maintain continuity within the party organization while introducing young leadership.
