Nirmal Surinder Kapoor, the mother of veteran actor-producer Boney Kapoor, passed away on Friday, May 2. She was ninety.
In a recent Instagram message, Boney Kapoor wrote: “Deceased peacefully on May 2, 2025, surrounded by her cherished family. She left behind four loyal children, a loving son-in-law, a loving daughter-in-law, eleven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and a lifetime of cherished memories after leading a full and happy life.
The mother of seasoned actor-producer Boney Kapoor, Nirmal Surinder Kapoor, died on Friday, May 2. She was 90 years old.
Boney Kapoor recently said on Instagram: “She passed away quietly on May 2, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. After living a full and happy life, she left behind four devoted children, a loving son-in-law, a loving daughter-in-law, eleven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and a lifetime of treasured memories.
The funeral will take place at Vile Parle Crematorium, Pawan Hans, S.V. Road, Mumbai, on Saturday, May 3, at 11:30 AM.
The mother of Boney, Anil, Sanjay, and Reena Kapoor Marwah, Nirmal Kapoor was the late film producer Surinder Kapoor’s wife. Arjun Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor, Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, and Mohit Marwah were among the actors and popular figures she was the grandmother of.
