Govinda Responds To Sunita Ahuja Divorce Reports: “Only Business Talks Going”
New Delhi: After 37 years of marriage, Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja are reportedly getting a divorce. In an interview with ETimes, Govinda responded to the divorce rumors amid the lingering conjecture.
Govinda’s response was brief and did not reveal any information. The Hero No. 1 actor said, “There are only business talks going…..” when ETimes questioned him about the veracity of several rumors alleging a rift in his marriage.I’m now working on my movies.” Sunita did not respond to ETimes’ message on divorce rumors.
“There have been issues between the couple due to certain statements made by certain members of the family,” Shashi Sinha, Govinda’s manager, told ETimes. Nothing else is involved, and Govinda is currently working on a movie, for which artists are coming to our office. We’re working to find a solution.
According to a number of sources on Wednesday, Govinda’s marriage has been in trouble for some time. According to reports, the couple has been living apart for a while.
As Sunita Ahuja revealed personal information about them in a few recent interviews, rumors about their alleged split surfaced.
Sunita Ahuja chuckled when questioned about Govinda’s romantic side during the Hindi Rush interview. “I’ve advised him that I shouldn’t marry him in my next life. He doesn’t take vacations. I’m the type of person who enjoys eating pani-puri on the street with her spouse. He worked for far too long. “I can’t remember ever going out to see a movie with you,” she grumbled.
According to a source cited by ETimes, “Sunita apparently had sent a separation notice a few months ago, but there has been no movement since then” amid these persistent rumors.
In March 1987, Govinda and Sunita Ahuja were married. However, following the birth of their daughter Tina in 1988, the couple made their wedding public. Yashvardhan, their son, was born in 1997.
