The airline adds frequency to the Kolkata-Bangkok line, restores operations between Guwahati and Ahmedabad, and establishes new links between Agartala and Dibrugarh and Guwahati and Dimapur.
In order to greatly improve connectivity to East and North-East India, IndiGo airline has announced new flights and the start of operations in its winter schedule.
Starting on October 29, 2024, the airline will launch special triweekly flights between Agartala and Dibrugarh, running on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
On December 10, 2024, IndiGo will also restart daily flights between Guwahati and Ahmedabad and introduce new direct flights between Guwahati and Dimapur.
Additionally, starting on November 24, 2024, the airline will increase frequencies on the Kolkata-Bangkok route, which will run four times a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
The first direct flights between Agartala and Dibrugarh will be operated by IndiGo. Regional accessibility this winter will be improved by the inclusion of these new routes and the restart of operations, which will strengthen domestic connectivity and give business and leisure travelers more flying alternatives to reach their desired locations throughout East and Northeast India. In addition to facilitating trade, business, and job possibilities, these new lines will deepen the cities’ economic connections.
