On May 1, the movie will be released in theaters.
Today marks the release of the trailer for Ajay Devgn’s Raid 2. The trailer, which is a sequel to the 2018 movie, combines nostalgia with a fresh power struggle. In the first scene of the video, Ajay Devgn knocks on the door of Riteish Deshmukh (Dadabhai), a prominent politician, in preparation for his 75th raid.
Ajay Devgn’s character, Amay Patnaik, has returned, and he won’t be able to sleep soundly till he unearths the black caches in Dadabhai’s house. However, since Riteish Deshmukh won’t give up until he has used up all of his options, the investigation won’t be simple.
One sentence from the trailer sums it up: “Pandava kab se Chakravyuh rach ne laga?” Riteish Deshmukh asks Ajay Devgn. When Ajay Devgn responds, “Kaun kaha mein Pandava hoon, mein toh pura Mahabharat hoon,”
With a few cameo appearances by Saurabh Shukla (the antagonist in Raid), the teaser is full with nostalgic touches that remind viewers of Amay Patnaik’s unbreakable spirit. In the movie, Vaani Kapoor portrays Ajay Devgn’s wife.

The follow-up to Ajay Devgn’s 2018 smash movie Raid is called Raid 2. Inspired after a real-life Income Tax raid in the 1980s, the first installment was widely praised.
In addition to Ajay Devgn, Saurabh Shukla and Ileana D’Cruz played important parts in the movie.
Returning to Raid 2, the movie will hit theaters on May 1, 2025.
