The airy georgette skirt with beautiful gota-patti stitching resembles a sari.

Alaya F is frequently seen wearing Indian clothing designed for the carefree dresser when she isn’t being the stereotypical girl next door, creating smoothie bowls, and practicing impossible headstands. The teenage actor was recently seen wearing a bustier-style shirt with off-shoulder sleeves and a block-print draped skirt from an unpublished Monisha Jaising line.

Delicate beading and pearl tassels ornamented the blouse, which had a striking black color with all-white embroidery. The skirt, which resembled half of a sari pallu with block print motifs, was a light and airy contrast to the heavy-duty bustier.

The sari-inspired skirt and bustier combination, which are surrounded by gotta-patti embroidery, pay homage to Jaising’s carefree and resort-inspired interpretation of Indian silhouettes. It also speaks to Alaya’s enduring preference for silhouettes that are highly detailed without masking her carefree and youthful personality.

Alaya was styled by stylist Sheefa J. Gilani in a pastel and beige lehenga by Tarun Tahiliani with delicate yet delicate floral embellishments for one of her most recent appearances.

To counterbalance the luxury, replace the highly embroidered blouse with a clean white shirt with a sharp, structured fit. It gives the ensemble a contemporary, androgynous edge whether it is buttoned high or left slightly loose. To contrast the elaborate needlework, swap the spectacular bag for a sleek, little top handle in glossy patent for a simple, eye-catching accessory. Choose a high ponytail that is slicked back to highlight the embroidery, advises Manglien Gangte, Fashion Associate at Vogue India.
