Coffee, tea, and all other milk products will become much more expensive at hotels and confectioneries as a result of this spike.

An increase of Rs 5 per litre has been demanded by the KMF and farmers’ organization. The government has, however, chosen to raise milk prices by Rs 4.

One litre of Nandini milk in the most popular blue carton will now cost Rs 48 instead of Rs 44.

In a similar vein, the one-liter homogenized bag costs Rs 47, the green pack costs Rs 50, and the saffron packet costs Rs 52.

The price of the curd has increased from Rs 50 per kilogram to Rs 54.

In order to establish a presence in the Delhi-NCR market, CM Siddaramaiah previously introduced the Karnataka Milk Federation’s (KMF) Nandini brand milk products, pricing them slightly less than rivals.

With competitive pricing that undercuts well-known competitors like Mother Dairy and Amul, the cooperative will sell four cow milk varieties, curd, and buttermilk.

Currently, the federation gathers 100 lakh litres of milk every day, of which 60 lakh litres are consumed locally. This leaves 40 lakh litres of milk surplus for market expansion.

KMF has a revenue of Rs 25,000 crore and exports dairy products to more than 25 countries thanks to its strong infrastructure of 26.76 lakh milk producers, 15,737 dairy cooperative organizations, and 15 district milk unions.
