The EPFO 3.0 upgrade is anticipated to combine PF accounts with the larger financial infrastructure supporting the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) and ATM networks, while specific operational details are still pending. With the use of a secure PIN or Aadhaar-based authentication, users would be able to take out qualified EPF monies straight from bank ATMs or UPI apps. To guarantee fund safety and compliance, withdrawal restrictions and requirements will probably be put in place.
