This weekend, we would like to congratulate Kate Upton, the iconic model for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit.

In 2011, Upton made her SI Swimsuit debut and won Rookie of the Year at the age of just 18. After that, she appeared on the magazine’s cover in 2012, 2013, and 2017. She didn’t make a spectacular comeback until 2024.

Last year, SI Swimsuit revealed Upton as one of their cover models. Because of SI Swimsuit editor-in-chief MJ Day and her amazing job, she was overjoyed to be back in the spotlight.

Telling CBS, “It never gets old,” Upton said. “It’s about having confidence in our bodies regardless of how we appear. The fashion industry attempted to categorize everyone when this magazine initially started. This magazine was truly transformed by MJ [Day] into one that empowers all women.

Regarding Upton’s private life, it is well known that she is wed to Justin Verlander, a pitcher who is likely to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. Genevieve, their first child, was born in November 2018 after they were married in 2017.

“Being a mother, especially to a daughter, motivates you in so many ways to really be aware of the messaging that is put out there for young women,” Upton stated.

According to TMZ, on June 19, Upton and Verlander welcomed their second child into the world. Bellamy Brooks is the name of their son, according to a representative for the SI Swimsuit model.

Numerous fans sent well wishes to Upton and Verlander on social media after the news surfaced.
