Accenture Q3 2025 Results
Growing demand from enterprise clients for the consulting giant’s AI-driven services drove Accenture’s 8% year-over-year (YoY) revenue growth to $17.7 billion in the March–May 2025 quarter, exceeding Wall Street projections of $17.30 billion. Accenture said that its foreign exchange impact for the quarter that ended in May 2025 was roughly positive by 0.5%.
The $3.49 profit per share also exceeded the $3.32 forecast. Accenture’s gross margin for the quarter was 32.9%, down from 33.4% during the same period last year.
The company with its headquarters in Ireland increased the bottom range of its forecast for full-year sales growth from 5-7% to 6-7% in local currency. In Q4 of FY25, the company anticipates revenues between $17 billion and $17.6 billion.
At the end of the third quarter, Accenture had $9.6 billion in total cash on hand.
The company’s fiscal year runs from September to August.
Accenture’s shares fell more than 6% as the business revealed a second consecutive decline in quarterly new bookings, overshadowing both an increase in its annual expectations and a revenue beat.
Bookings, which stand for future income guaranteed by contracts, dropped 6% to $19.70 billion in the third quarter, which was worse than the 3% drop in the quarter before.
According to Accenture, 30 clients made quarterly reservations totaling more than $100 million, up from 32 in the prior quarter. Bookings for generative AI came to almost $1.5 billion.
With $8.97 billion in revenue, the Americas made up the largest portion of the total. After that, the Asia-Pacific region produced $2.53 billion, while the EMEA region (Europe, the Middle East, and Africa) produced $6.23 billion.
The company now employs about 75,000 people in data and AI, with plans to reach 80,000 by the end of FY26. At the conclusion of the quarter, it employed roughly 7,90,000 people worldwide.
